The 24th of June marked the last session of the Expert Group 3 (Recruitment, Career Development, and Job Transition). The discussions encompassing “Development of Guideline on Employment and Placement Incentive Regime for APEC SEN Seafarers” were made under the leadership of Expert Group 3 Chair, Dr. Xiu Ying Bi from the China.
Following the opening remarks by Dr. Xiu Ying Bi, Ms. Anqi from Guangzhou Maritime University introduced a concept note “Development of Guideline on Employment and Placement Incentive Regime for APEC SEN Seafarers” proposed by the People’s Republic of China. Furthermore, two professional inputs from Dr. Sha Zhengrong, Guangzhou Maritime University, and Capt. Jixuan Wang from Sinocrew Maritime Services from China were also delivered in the session.
